To advocate, educate, and raise awareness of the challenges people face experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity by providing direct services and resources, while treating them with dignity and respect.

To actively promote policies and initiatives that address the root causes of homelessness and housing insecurity.
Education
To raise awareness about the challenges faced by those experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness, fostering empathy and understanding within the community.
Direct Services
To provide essential resources — including emergency shelter, direct care management, and job training — to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity in Southwest Florida.
Collaboration
By working collaboratively with local organizations and community members, we aim to build a resilient network that effectively addresses homelessness. Together, we can ensure that everyone has a place to call home.
From 1989 to a Regional Coalition
What began as a local response to homelessness in Collier County has grown into a regional organization serving two counties and two continuums of care across Southwest Florida.
How We Fit In
Collier County
The SWFL Regional Coalition is the HUD CoC lead grantee and HMIS lead agency for Collier County. We manage Coordinated Entry, administer HMIS, and provide direct services through our programs.
Lee County
In Lee County, the HUD CoC lead applicant is Lee County government, administered by the Lee County Department of Human and Veteran Services. The SWFL Regional Coalition is a partner agency.
Board of Directors
The SWFL Regional Coalition to End Homelessness is governed by a volunteer board of directors drawn from across the region.
